Job Description:
195 days per year, approximately 3-4 hours per day, 3:30-6:00 pm required Monday through Thursday. Pay prorated for later start date.  Employee work schedule will be agreed upon with supervisor upon hire; roughly follows the LCSD Calendar. For the 2025-2026 academic year through June 11, 2026.  Follows district break schedule for Fall, Winter, and Spring breaks.  
| Program Coordination Oversee and coordinate after school and Friday programs for students grades 7-12, to align with funding sources, partnerships and student needs.Compile student/parent online registration information for Out-of-School Time (OST) programsCoordinate outreach to parents and teachers/staff to effectively communicate student progress in programming and to recruit new students.Recruit and hire OST front line staff and volunteers, providing training as needed throughout the year to align with district policies and practices and goals of the 21st CCLC program.Supervise and evaluate OST front line staff and volunteers on an annual basis.Create staffing schedules, identifying and scheduling substitutes as needed.Collect monthly timesheets and turn them into the OST Director by the 12th of each month.Attend school MTSS meetings as needed to collaborate on academic or behavioral supports for after school students. Oversee the analysis of academic data in partnership with OST Director, school principal, and academic deans to modify scheduling and/or design programming to improve academic outcomes.  Support outreach efforts to increase parent engagement and involvement with OST programs and family initiatives. Solicit feedback from families when appropriate.Communicate with families regarding program fees as neededActively communicate and coordinate weekly with the OST Director, including weekly supervision meetings.Meet monthly with principal and/or appropriate school staff to facilitate OST activities.

| Program Supervision Provide oversight of programs and staff while programs are in operation during all OST hours, including after school and may include Fridays.Serve as the supervisor on duty according to the program schedule from 3:15-6:30pm Monday-Thursday and possibly 8:00am-4:00pm on Fridays.Maintain a daily schedule of academic and other enrichment activities. Coordinate changes in schedule as needed to align with funding sources, partnerships and student needs.Promote quality club activities through supporting staff and student initiatives, ordering supplies, and encouraging student engagement.Organize and serve daily snacks and/or meals and record total snacks and/or meals served for reporting requirements. Report snack and/or meal data monthly. Support positive student behavior following LCSD OST behavior and discipline protocols. Serve as the point person for parent contact if further action is needed, using trauma-informed, inclusive and culturally responsive practices.Promote and model positive behavior support strategies, including restorative practices, collaborative problem solving and/or positive youth development strategies. Attend training to support the development of these strategies as requested.Maintain daily records of behavior incidents in alignment with school day, coordinating with school day staff and administration as needed. Follow LCSD school safety and emergency procedures at all times, and maintain the safety of all students through proper risk management strategies.

| Grant Tracking and Reporting Build and maintain the detailed attendance database each day of students attended, activities participated in, and other required demographics for grant reporting.Add participants, staff and activities to the attendance database on a rolling basis. Initiate, distribute, collect, and compile the Teacher End of Year Surveys before the end of each school year. Work with the OST Director to compile the school’s data to submit before the required date.Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment used for the programs at the start and end of each semester, as needed.

Qualifications:
| Minimum of 3 years related experience including staff/student management, and coordination/execution of programming.Experience working with large groups of youth.Strong commitment to equity in education and promotion of academic achievement.High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree or some college preferredExperience managing student behavior through a positive youth development approach.Excellent communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.A willingness and eagerness to be coached through feedback.Experience supervising, training, and evaluating front line staffCreativity and flexibility.Computer experience is preferred.Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.CPR/First Aid required upon employment.
