Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage and direct the parking lot crew employees in the lot
- Be the lead attendant in the Cooper parking operations system
- Schedule Parking Lot Attendants based on projected needs
- Make quick decisions as to when to start new rows of vehicles, and locations in which to avoid parking vehicles
- Determine when and where sand/snow removal is needed in the lot based on conditions
- Distribute cones in the proper manner to separate rows from lanes as the parking lot fills with vehicles
- Aid stuck guests by attempting to talk them through the process of driving out of the predicament
- Provide information to inquiring guests: directions, prices, locations of services, etc.
- Snow removal/sand spreading by hand at parking lot locations in need
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with current and valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years of experience in parking lot operations, preferably at Cooper
- Knowledge of the Cooper parking lot operations system
- Familiarity with the Cooper parking lot and how vehicles tend to act in it
- Ability to think and make pertinent decisions quickly
- Professional and positive attitude
- Must be able to work weekends, vacation periods, and major holidays
Working conditions
The Parking Supervisor position is based primarily outside and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500+ feet).
Physical requirements
Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift objects that may be heavy.

This is a winter seasonal position with an expected season of early December 2025 through early-mid April 2026. Employment in subsequent seasons is not guaranteed. Be sure to speak with your supervisor if you desire to return the next season.
