Job Description
As a knowledgeable and experienced Paralegal, the employee will prepare and assist in the completion of legal documents and correspondence; assist in preparing for hearings and trials; research legal issues; act as contract administrator for the legal department; perform various fiscal functions; support child protection, adult protection, child support enforcement, welfare fraud investigation, and civil cases; and provide other support to the County Attorney, Deputy Attorney and Assistant County Attorneys. The Paralegal also performs a variety of complex administrative duties in support of attorney functions, including: track projects and assignments within the office, process invoices and prepare financial reports for reporting to County staff, maintain office calendar including litigation and pleadings deadlines; and maintain data, files and folders for both physical and digital materials. This is a full time, hourly position with a wage range of $24.14 to $29.57, DOE.
