Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $23-$27/hr.

Location: Salida, CO.

Job Description:

The Packaging Supervisor plays an essential role in the success of the 12 Peaks Manufacturing Team and the Long Play portfolio of brands. This position oversees packaging activities in a manufacturing environment. They are responsible for ensuring all products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and according to all regulations and standards, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision and leadership, production planning and scheduling, quality control, inventory management, equipment safety and maintenance, weekly order planning and fulfilment, artwork and compliance printing, material staging/allocation, and accurately tracking projects and finished goods inventory.

All 12 Peaks Farms team members must adhere to state cannabis regulations and corporate standards. Successful team members demonstrate a high level of professionalism, work cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments, and assume accountability for compliance, performance, and overall behavior.

This position has direct reports and reports to Postproduction Sr Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Compliance.

  • Helping in other departments as needed.
  • All other duties associated with agricultural and packaging operation as required.

Job Duties:

  • Adhere to Company standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Daily facilitation and leadership of the packaging production lines.
  • Training new and current employees on current, future, and updated packaging and production SOPS.
  • Responsible for accurately collecting all data required and defined in production and packaging SOPS and by company management.
  • Production tracking of finished goods in internal and external databases.
  • Identification of packaging exceptions, issues and/or exposures.
  • Perform problem solving and root cause analysis as needed.
  • Perform inventory management tasks and protocols, including, but not limited to cycle counts, weekly packaging inventory and ordering, and overall packaging inventory organization.
  • Responsible for administrative and human resource tasks associated with supervising employees, including but not limited to approving and adjusting time for payroll purposes, approving and scheduling employee PTO, managing team interpersonal issues, and maintaining a healthy team environment.
  • Cross train with Material Processing and F&L departments to serve as a redundant resource for Autocone, joint and fulfillment operations.
  • Pro-active communication to keep management informed of overall department’s status.

Job Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado MED Badge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written to a diverse group of employees.
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical ability to lift 30 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Basic computer literacy including email, spreadsheet maintenance and printing functions.

Schedule: 10 hour shift
