Job Description

Hiring Overnight Youth Support Specialists or Night Monitors to join our team at Southern Peaks Regional Treatment Center located in Canon City, Colorado.

In this role, you will supervise clients during the sleeping hours in a manner that ensures their safety and security. You will complete and document regular room checks throughout your shift. You will also assist in the management of the morning wake-up routine by educating, guiding, and directing clients in a manner that promotes their growth and development.

This is a great role for you if you are a night owl; as you will remain awake during your shift. This position requires a GED or High School Diploma. It does not require previous experience working with youth. Comprehensive paid training will be provided to you. TO APPLY TEXT "ON" TO 719-416-5888.

Overnight Monitor Basic Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with and supervises clients during daily activities in a manner that ensures their safety and security.
  • Maintains regular communication with supervisor and co-workers.
  • Provides effective facility security including conducting headcounts, room checks, and observing client movement.
  • Observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately.    

Overnight Monitor Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year applicable experience or Associate’s Degree preferred. (Associate’s degree or sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited college or university.
  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).
  • Non-communicable diseases physical exam, drug test
  • Driver's License
