Job Description

Estes is looking for a curious and dynamic Operations Intern that has fun navigating through ambiguity and bringing together seemingly disparate data sets to the surface in the form of insights with visualization to drive meaningful results. It all starts with ensuring integrity of data within the ERP system enabling process and system automation, development of key performance indicators, and robust analysis to drive high volume data driven decision making at all levels within the organization. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a lot of data and take the opportunity to clean it up to ensure information is accurately reflected within the system to achieve planning, revenue, and gross margin goals. They will also be excited to conduct time studies of operations processes within production, assembly, and warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Rigorous review of existing data in the system and call out variances
  • Conduct time studies and report on findings throughout Operations
  • Articulate/visualize the impact of the time studies to cost
  • Clean up data in the system with the support of stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (can be in progress as well)
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze existing tools/databases/reports and provide solution recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills

Location: Penrose, Colorado, USA (near Colorado Springs)

Housing will be provided for the duration of the internship for non-local hires
