ABOUT THE ROLE
The Heavy Equipment Oiler performs project-site daily fueling and lube services, operational checks and preventive maintenance services on a variety of heavy construction equipment and machinery.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Travel to worksites to perform scheduled fueling and lubrication services on all field equipment and construction machinery
- Able to complete minor repairs, removes, replaces moving parts and other components on vehicles, equipment and machinery
- Requests repair parts and lubrication supplies as needed
- Be proactive in identifying other maintenance problems while performing your tasks
- Maintain accurate equipment inspection and service logs on a daily basis
- Complies with all applicable DOT rules and regulations
- Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations with regard to hazardous waste
- When not performing primary duties and responsibilities, may assist in other shop operations as designated by supervisor
- Must be knowledgeable about and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience working on heavy equipment
Experience: Heavy equipment maintenance certification from an accredited school is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Lift and carry 75 lbs. from the ground to chest height, lift and carry 50 lb. objects overhead and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Move from standing to creeper repeatedly
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Walk on rough terrain in varying climates
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Reach with hands and arms often
- Climb or balance often
- Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Frequently required to talk or hear
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, distinguish colors,
- Peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
- Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Successful Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
