Job Description:
Fremont County Head Start is seeking a dedicated Nutrition Service Manager to lead dietary operations within our preschool environment. This role combines management expertise with a passion for health and wellness, coordinating dietary services for children ages 3–5 and ensuring every child receives the nutritional support they need each day.

Duties:
- Manage daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
- Supervise and mentor dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Implement special diet plans that incorporate child assessments, nutrition goals, and specialized diets such as allergies, religious needs, and health care plans.
- Oversee meal planning and preparation to meet nutritional guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of special diet plans, dietary records, and budget reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Skills:
- Knowledge of children’s nutrition protocols.
- Proven supervisory experience within dietary or healthcare settings, especially in managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge in managing budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation for dietary departments.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
