Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Kitchen Manager
- Will be responsible for all aspects of dishwashing operations & keeping within sanitation guidelines
- Be able to work at a moderately quick pace
- Service of food in the cafeteria
- Assists with cleaning & dishwashing during service breaks
- Perform daily clean-up to include sweeping, mopping, wiping down counters, carts, cleaning sinks, and washing dishes
- Perform assigned responsibilities quickly in order to assist in other kitchen tasks when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Possess a standard knowledge of kitchen operation.
- Possess knowledge of chemical cleaners and their proper usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Previous experience in a food service or nutrition-related role is a plus.
- Possess knowledge of common health safety procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, assistance with 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of nutritional guidelines and food safety practices.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Certification in food handling or willingness to obtain one.
