Wage: $30-$36.49/hr.
Location: Canon City, CO.
Job Description:
The Nurse Home Visitor is responsible for providing comprehensive community health nursing services to women and their families, enrolled in the Nurse Family Partnership, in accord with NFP program goals, objectives and protocols.
Age of Clients: Women of childbearing age, approximately 13 – 45 years. Infants and children, birth through years. Must foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing,
- Colorado RN required
Qualities & Characteristics:
- Ability to establish interpersonal relationships with women and families from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
Requirements and Conditions:
- Drug screen is required
- Background check is required
Working Conditions and Physical Environment:
While performing the duties of this position the employee travels frequently by vehicle for nurse home visits. Position involves frequent walking, standing, sitting, talking/hearing, bending, requires use of nursing equipment, some use of general office machines including computer, copier, printer, fax, phones, calculators, and shredder
