The City of Salida Arts & Culture Department is looking for a reliable and energetic team member to help bring events to life across the SteamPlant Event Center, Rotary Scout Hut, Riverside Park, and the downtown Creative District.
In this hands-on role, you’ll help set up and transform spaces for weddings, performances, meetings, and community events—moving tables and chairs, prepping spaces, assisting with cleanup, and helping ensure each event runs smoothly. You’ll work alongside staff, vendors, and the public to create welcoming, well-run experiences for the community.
This is an active, physical role that requires flexibility and a willingness to jump in where needed. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.
The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
This is a part-time seasonal position, working up to 20 hours a week, running from May - September.
Pay rate: $18.00 - This position also includes a free individual pool pass to the Hot Springs Aquatic Center
