Job Type: Full time, Salaried

Wage: $33,280-$37,440/yr. 

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

Some of the responsibilities of the Medical Front Office Assistant are:

  • Serving patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
  • Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
  • Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges.
  • Maintaining medical record files, filing of documents into medical record charts.
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Medical specialties: Primary Care

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
