Location: Florence, CO.

Job Description:

The Master Electrician leads electrical installations and owns quality control for modular homes at Mytikas Industries’s Florence production facility. This role trains and mentors Entry- and Mid-Level Electricians, oversees complex electrical work, and ensures compliance with design specifications and applicable codes. The position is critical to safe, compliant electrical systems and on-time production delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical installations, including complex wiring systems, outlets, and fixtures, for modular homes.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure electrical systems meet design specifications and industry standards.
  • Train and mentor Entry- and Mid-Level Electricians on techniques, safety practices, and code compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced electrical issues, ensuring system reliability and safe operation.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes (e.g., NEC), safety standards, and industry regulations.
  • Read and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to guide electrical projects.
  • Collaborate with production teams to align electrical work with project goals and schedules.
  • Lead process improvements to enhance electrical system efficiency, safety, and quality.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience as an electrician, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role (manufacturing or construction preferred).
  • Master Electrician license required (as provided).
  • Expert proficiency installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC), safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring capability; strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training or degree in electrical systems or related fields.
  • OSHA safety training.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., NFPA 70E).
Work Environment / Schedule
  • Onsite at Mytikas Industries’s production facility in Florence, Colorado.
  • Leadership-focused production environment requiring adherence to safety standards and PPE (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, insulated tools).
  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (40 hours total).
