Job Description

The unique value that our Maintenance Specialists bring to Fading West is the essential responsibility of ensuring that all our equipment, tools, and facilities are in top working condition to contribute to efficient processes and systems company wide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welding of multiple types including ark, wire feed, and TIG
• Repair and inspect small vehicle fleet
• Diagnose mechanical and structural problems and determine how to correct them as necessary.
• Electrical maintenance/ inspection for equipment and facilities.
• Construction maintenance of all types (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Heavy equipment operation (boom lifts, scissor lifts, truck and trailer, loaders, various snow removal machinery, etc.)
• Crane maintenance and inspection
• Basic drafting/ design of structures, guards, jigs, and various equipment
• Fabrication of needed materials using various materials (metal, plastic, wood, etc.)
• Various Building and office maintenance
• General grounds maintenance as needed
• Tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years of maintenance experiences or related field
• Excels at evaluating problems, solving problems, and proposing solutions
• Welding experience strongly preferred
• Positive attitude and works well with immediate team and various departments
• Good communication skills with supervisors and co-workers

REQUIREMENTS

• In-Person (this position cannot be performed remotely)
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7AM - 5:30 PM with rotating on call Friday and Saturdays periodically.
• This role requires signing a confidentiality agreement, intellectual property rights agreement.
• Reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicant
• May be required to regularly stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work at heights.
• Must be competent and comfortable in basic computer skills and navigating modern technology

COMPENSATION

• Hourly Rate Range: $23.00 to $ 28.00 per/hour or year (Rate commensurate with experience)
• Fading West rigorously adheres to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-201(1)
