Job: Lumber & Building Materials Load Builder

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lumber & Building Materials Load Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for loading and unloading deliveries in the yard, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and assisting customers in the yard as needed.

Pay for this Role: $15.00 per hour - $17.00 per hour depending on experience

• Move and handle building materials throughout the facility.
• Stage loads for delivery or will call (accurately pull correct products from picking ticket).
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Operate a forklift in a safe and proper manner, according to company procedures/protocols.
• Follow all safety procedures, ensuring all staff adhere to them as well.
• Put away products in proper bin locations.
• Help customers in the yard as needed.
• Be an honest and reliable team player. 
• Build lumber packs in a timely and accurate manner. 

• Ability to operate Forklift
• Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Available for occasional overtime. 
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for an extended period of time. up to 8-10 hours a day.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
