Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $28/hr. 

Location: Westcliffe, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of quarry site dynamics. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of machinery to facilitate the movement of materials at our Westcliffe, CO quarry sites, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.

**Please note candidates must live in or be willing to relocated to Westcliffe, CO.

**Hours will vary depending on workload

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery including loaders, dozers, excavators, and dump trucks to move materials as required on quarry sites.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality before use.
  • Load materials into crusher and on trucks safely and efficiently using front loader and/or skidsteer.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations on-site.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment to minimize risks and accidents.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • 10 years experience in loader operation.
  • Proven experience in quarry site operations is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • MSHA certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
