Wage: $20/hr.

Location: Ridgeway, CO.

Job Description:

We are hiring full-time and part-time Line/Prep Cooks for a brand new Restaurant concept in Ridgway, CO called The Million Roadhouse.

Pay starts at $20 per hour + Tips or Higher based on Experience.

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment and food storage areas.
  • Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
  • Lifting heavy objects repeatedly.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals
  • Proper trash and recycling practices
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
  • Know ingredients for flavor profiles and basic cooking techniques.
  • Clearly understand the needs of your guests and be able to provide service at a high level
  • Able to execute orders in a timely manner and account for all orders properly and accurately
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests
  • Full knowledge of all menu items.
  • Finish all opening and closing duties on a deadline basis
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand cooking, plating, presentation directions.
