Job Description:
We are hiring full-time and part-time Line/Prep Cooks for a brand new Restaurant concept in Ridgway, CO called The Million Roadhouse.
Pay starts at $20 per hour + Tips or Higher based on Experience.

- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment and food storage areas.
- Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
- Lifting heavy objects repeatedly.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals
- Proper trash and recycling practices
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
- Know ingredients for flavor profiles and basic cooking techniques.
- Clearly understand the needs of your guests and be able to provide service at a high level
- Able to execute orders in a timely manner and account for all orders properly and accurately
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests
- Full knowledge of all menu items.
- Finish all opening and closing duties on a deadline basis
- Must be able to speak, read and understand cooking, plating, presentation directions.
