Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Pool Manager, this position maintains order and prevents dangerous and life-threatening behavior in and around the swimming pool. This position ensures safety and the well-being of the patrons of the municipal pool.

American Red Cross Lifeguard and Water Safety certification is required.

Salary and Benefits: The City of Florence is seeking part-time/seasonal lifeguards. The hourly rate ranges from $14.42-$14.65/hour, DOE, DOQ. WSI Certification compensation is available.
