Job Description:
The Seasonal Leisure Services Representative provides information to City and County residents, City departments, general public and outside agencies related to Parks and Recreation services and programs.
The position will be 20-40 hours per week starting in February 2025 until May 2025. This position will work within the hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday and has the flexibility to work around school schedules.

Duties
What You’ll Do:
- Assist customers in person, over the telephone and via the internet.
- Process rentals and reservations of park shelters, fields, and other facilities.
- Prepare permits, contracts and supporting documents.
- Create and maintain booking calendars for various facilities.
- Collect and process a high volume of monies including registration and facility use payments and program registrations.
- Process Summer Camp paperwork including immunization records.
- Utilize various computer hardware and software packages including word processing and database applications.
- Compile, prepare, enter and update data from various sources.
- Maintain customer accounts and activity/course information.
- Prepare mass mailings, flyers and brochures.
- Perform other accounting and clerical functions as required.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Applicants must be able to successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and, if required for the specific position, a physical examination.
- Two years of increasingly responsible customer service experience, both in person and on the phone.
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to accurately calculate, record and balance assigned transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and learn the operations, services and activities of the Parks and Recreation Department.
