ABOUT THE ROLE

Ensure that all Condition Based Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance tasks, and maintenance planning and scheduling is carried out and developed in a safe and effective manner

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance through managing systems to keep the plant informed about equipment condition, planning and projects
  • Complete reports, forms and other paperwork associated with maintenance planning activities
  • Strong MaC System leader coordinating the activities/meetings in the Planning area
  • Ensure that employees/contractors are in compliance with safe work practices and all federal, state and local regulations
  • Responsible for major outage planning, project management planning, condition based maintenance and maintenance planning
  • Oversee all Plant Planners ( production and Electrical) during Plant outages
  • Assist Maintenance Manager in the development of maintenance FinPlan and Maintenance CAPEX plan to identify needs for continual plant improvements and recommendations
  • Work with contractors to ensure quality of work and best return on investment
  • Perform evaluations of Maintenance KPI’s (Plan Attainment, Productivity, Efficiency, etc) and assist in action plan development
  • Assist Maintenance Manager in preparing Annual Maintenance Budget
  • Communicate and coordinate with Superintendents and Supervisors to ensure proper planning
  • Manage, monitor and update maintenance workforce training plan as needed
  • Responsible for SAP training for Plant personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Required Work Experience: 7-10 years in a cement manufacturing or related industry

Required Computer and Software Skills: SAP, TIS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Travel Requirements: Up to 15%

  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
