Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $20/hr.

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer Pipe Layer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing underground piping systems essential for various infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install water, sanitary and storm sewer structures and pipe systems· Lay out pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisor·
  • Cut pipes to required lengths· Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using mechanical connections and fittings as required
  • Various labor duties on job sites
  • Fuel and grease equipment daily
  • Comply with all company health and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and inspecting equipment regularly.
  • Responsible to provide own personal protective equipment
  • Other duties will be assigned as required

Qualifications

  • Experience with operating construction tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, digging, and other manual labor activities
  • Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and adherence to workplace safety standards
  • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Ability to follow instructions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be safety conscious
  • Excellent team player
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Must be punctual and personable
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Starting $20/ Hr depending on experiance

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
