As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in our culinary operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for various tasks including meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining food safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Use kitchen equipment safely, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
