Job Type: Part time, Hourly
Wage: $13.65/hr.
Location: Florence, CO.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, food preparation checklist and have a list of children with food allergies
-Prepare breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and equipment
- Follow and have knowledge of the Colorado Adult and Child Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with the food industry and its best practices
- Excellent food handling skills to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
- Ability to work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special diets
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other staff and director
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
