Position Summary:

The Internal Events Coordinator will significantly impact employee morale, engagement, and overall workplace culture supporting the enhanced engagement of our Pax8 team members. Successful events and engagement initiatives lead to increased employee satisfaction, improved retention rates, and a more positive work environment. They will contribute to a stronger sense of belonging among employees and align with the organization's strategic goals by fostering a culture that values teamwork, recognition, and well-being.

**NOTE: This will be a HYBRID role, local candidates to Colorado only.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Assist with the project management and project delivery tasks for our Internal Events, and support multiple concurrent events.
  • Event Registration: Build and manage registration websites and mobile apps, on-site registration, name badges, and post-event reporting and surveys. Vendor Payment Tracking: Manage vendor invoices and payments
  • Problem Solving: Creative solutions, adaptability and thrives in a game day atmosphere.
  • Sourcing: Assist with RFPs for event vendors and venues.
  • Housing: Manage rooming lists, room pick up, pace reports, attrition, and VIP needs.
  • On-Site Support: Pre-conference meetings, set up, registration, food and beverage, and tear down.
  • Event Portfolio: Support a diverse range of internal events, including but not limited to team-building activities, employee incentive retreats, leadership meetings, winter party, summer picnic, employee happy hours, recognition ceremonies, and wellness initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Support of an elevated workplace experience: At times, this role will assist the front of house team with smaller event needs or other duties as assigned

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least one (1) year of experience in event planning, preferably in a tech or corporate environment
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal abilities Strong project management skills, including multitasking and time management
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a knack for innovation
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to foster strong internal and external relationships
  • Enthusiastic about fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Aligned with the organization’s values, mission, and objectives
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • A can-do attitude and customer service oriented
  • Experience with event registration platforms (i.e. Swoogo, Cvent, Eventbrite) preferred
  • Experience with event mobile apps (i.e. Event Mobi, Guidebook, Spot Me) preferred
  • Experience with data analytics tools for event feedback preferred

Required Education & Certifications:

HS Diploma/GED; or equivalent work experience B.A./B.S. in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $47,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
