Position Summary:

The Internal Communications Coordinator supports the creation, planning, and implementation of communications to employees. This role requires a self-motivated, inquisitive, and detail-oriented person with writing, reading, and analytical skills. They are a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently while adapting to shifting priorities. This role will report to the Manager of Internal Communications – Americas and support that region.

The Coordinator will have the opportunity to support many different stakeholders across the business by creating communications strategies that empower and engage our Pax8 community. They are a storyteller with an eagerness to bring new ideas that vitalize projects and inspire colleagues to deliver best-in-class internal communications. This role is a critical position with a mission to drive employee engagement and to inform and connect our people to Pax8's mission and vision.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager of Internal Communications with key priorities and tasks to efficiently implement communication delivery
  • Plan, write, create, and share content and messaging across multi-media internal communication channels
  • Methodically manage SharePoint site by strategizing and gathering content, writing, and publishing messages, and collaborating with different stakeholders across the business
  • Act as a liaison across all departments to ensure information is communicated accurately and through the appropriate channels
  • Assist with coordinating and executing the production of a monthly All Hands meeting, liaising with presenters and the studio team to ensure high-quality presentations
  • Participate in strategy meetings by taking notes, identifying needs, and creating project and action plans
  • Project manage and track communications deliverables for corporate initiatives and campaigns
  • Gather metrics and create reports that show the communications impact of existing channels
  • Support interdepartmental communication by advising on communications solutions, reviewing messaging, and providing channel matrix guidance
  • Support and research efforts focused on internal communications, engagement, and employee experience
  • Perform administrative duties as needed

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least three (3) years of experience working in internal communications and project management, with a desire to pursue a career in the communications field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and comfortable using and learning digital communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, etc. (Adobe product capabilities with design and video skills desirable, but not essential)
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to create engaging messages and develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Demonstrate digital fluency, leveraging digital capabilities to share messages and bring fresh perspectives and creativity
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities with deadlines in a constantly changing environment with effective time-management
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • A true team player with the capability to self-start and work at pace when required
  • Possess a deep intellectual curiosity and a mindset to stay ahead in the fast-moving and dynamic work environment
  • High energy level and can-do spirit, with passion and enthusiasm that engages others
  • Inherently demonstrates a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and trust

Required Education Certifications:

B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $53,000 or more depending on experience 

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
