Job Type: Hourly

Wage: $18.72/hr.

Location: Trinidad, CO.

Job Description:

This position provides clerical support to the assigned location.

All positions require pre-employment drug screening, TB test, and background checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Composes and types routine correspondence, including admission/discharge summaries. Copies correspondence as needed. Prepares outpatient and DUI patient files.

Answers, screens, directs phone calls to staff, takes messages, and schedules appointments.

Welcomes visitors and guides them to the correct person. Collects patient fees and prepares tally sheets.

Provide relevant information on current and former patients to counselors, the court, probation, and parole personnel.

Maintains the DUI/Outpatient Library and assigns videos to counselors upon request.

Sorts and routes incoming and interoffice mail. Prepares outgoing mail.

Maintains petty cash while on duty.

Assist with intakes for treatment services.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.

The ability to obtain CAT or similar credentials, such as the Behavioral Health Assistant certification, within 18 months of the hire date.

Experience:

Previous experience working in an office setting.

Other:

Computer literate, able to type 40 words per minute. Solid customer service skills.

Must maintain a professional appearance. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

CPR and first-aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by CTP).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The maximum expected weight for lifting and bending should not exceed 25 lbs. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office setting with standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, calculators, and fax machines.
