Job Description

Estes is looking for a summer intern who can assist the Help Desk team to deliver technology support and to gain hands-on experience with the hardware, software, and services that enable Estes to function.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer Help Desk support requests.
  • Conduct an inventory of new, deployed, and retired hardware while updating existing inventory databases.
  • Deploy hardware, both new and repurposed.
  • Troubleshoot paper and label printing technology.
  • Use the Estes remote monitoring and management software to troubleshoot and fix software and system issues.
  • Become familiar with Oracle database SQL.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good analytical skills and a desire to learn and understand how technology enables the business.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • This position will require documenting Help Desk support requests and interacting directly with users, both technical and non-technical.

Location: Penrose, Colorado, USA (near Colorado Springs)

Housing will be provided for the duration of the internship for non-local hires
