Job Description

Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $19-$22/hr.

Location: Montrose, CO.

Job Description:

Location: Touch of Care 1100 E Main St., Montrose, CO 81401
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
Schedule: 30 hours per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Human Resources Representative to join our team! (Please note, this is NOT a remote position. It is 100% in office). This position plays a key role in managing Human Resources functions, benefits, and workers' compensation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting our team and ensuring efficient operations. This is a dynamic role requiring attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • PC/HM:
  • Recruitment and onboarding for PC/HM staff
  • Coordinate trainings and ensure chart maintenance for HMA and PC/HM
  • Attend staffing meetings to stay informed on staffing needs
  • Update the Personnel Handbook and PC/HM training materials
  • Complete proper termination documentation
  • Manage the Yearly Linda Bowman Award

Benefits Management:

  • Initial Enrollments:
  • Administer life, retirement, and health insurance enrollments for qualifying staff (over 30 hours)
  • Administer Trailhead benefits for qualifying staff
  • Open Enrollment:
  • Health Insurance (October-November)
  • Aflac (April)
  • Life Insurance (May)
  • Yearly Tasks:
  • 1095 Reporting (February)

Worker’s Compensation:

  • File and manage original accident reports
  • Investigate accidents and manage claims
  • Complete yearly OSHA reporting
  • Apply for cost containment applications every 2-3 years

Quality Assurance:

  • Participate in quality assurance activities and prepare meeting minutes
  • Present accident reports as required

PCP Supervision:

  • Conduct monthly evaluations for regular staff (not attendants)
  • Resolve caregiving issues and advocate for PCPs when needed
  • Ensure caregivers have proper breaks and do not have excessive travel schedules
  • Monitor struggling PCPs and provide counseling as necessary

Other Administrative Duties:

  • Process Prior Authorization Requests
  • Answer phones and provide general administrative support as needed
  • Participate in on-call rotation (Once every 5-6 weeks for Saturday and Sunday and one weekday a week)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Human Resources, benefits management, or related administrative fields
  • Experience with healthcare staffing is a plus
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Previous experience with workers' compensation claims management is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
