Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist housekeepers by maintaining and repairing items in rooms:
- Clogged toilets, drains and sinks, malfunctioning faucets and shower heads, air conditioning units, curtains and rods (wipe curtain rods down with WD-40 monthly), light fixtures and bulbs, clean room and hallway carpets, restore wood surfaces, Check TV’s and remotes. Test entry doors to ensure batteries are working. Check balcony doors and door stops, Consult with maintenance team when necessary.
- When time permits take dirty carts and dirty dish tubs to basement laundry and bring back clean carts and tubs if needed
- Maintain balcony lights and remove spiderwebs - Report when items need to be ordered or repaired
- Stock and organize maintenance closets and storage area.
- Take trash to dumpsters
- Check balcony Rocking chairs and tables making sure they are stable
- Wipe down and straighten courtyard chairs and tables
- Blow debris from courtyard and check the perimeter
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE HOUSING AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with little supervision at times and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer-oriented and friendly.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Knowledge of English language.
