Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing a welcoming environment will contribute significantly to our guests' overall experience.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques and equipment.
- Manage dry cleaning services for guests, ensuring timely delivery and quality care of garments.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and laundry processes, including dry cleaning methods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
