Key Responsibilities
- Guest Reception & Service:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with empathy and efficiency.
- Reservations & Room Assignments:
- Manage hotel reservations, confirming guest bookings and handling cancellations or modifications.
- Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability, ensuring all special requests are met when possible.
- Ensure the accuracy of guest billing information and process payments.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management regarding guest requests and any special accommodations.
- Coordinate transportation services or any external requests (taxis, shuttles, reservations, etc.).
- Administrative Duties:
- Answer phone calls and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Maintain front desk operations, including updating guest records, creating reports, and managing logs.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of guest invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Security & Safety:
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property, following established safety protocols.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergencies as necessary.
- Guest Experience:
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing a personalized experience and anticipating needs.
- Handle guest feedback and ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with hotel management software and office equipment (computer, phone system).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
