Wage: $60,000-$75,000/yr. 

Location: Leadville, CO.

Are you a framing contractor but tired of running a business? Or, are you a seasoned framer who wants to lead a crew of committed, direct employees? This position with NorthCraft Neighborhoods may be the right fit for you! NorthCraft Neighborhoods has a position open for a direct, W2 employee for Lead Carpenter with our in-house framing crew. Put aside all the hassles of running a business or working with subs and just get back to framing and siding!

This position includes lots of employee benefits like paid vacation and holidays, paid sick time, health insurance, 401(k) and worker's comp worth 35 - 40% of the generous base salary.

The Lead Carpenter is responsible for leading and managing NorthCraft Neighborhood's in-house carpentry crew to accomplish framing and siding on NN homes.

Responsibilities include creating and executing a work plan for the crew, layout of framing and siding, managing material deliveries, ensuring a safe work environment and managing quality. This is a great opportunity to share your carpentry skills with the crew and develop their carpentry skills as well.

Plus, there's none of the headaches of contracting like bidding, long commutes to different job sites, trying to fit into multiple GC's schedules, chasing down checks and dealing with complicated taxes, or trying to find subs/employees.
