Job Type: Full time, Part time, Hourly

Wage: $25-$35/hr.

Location: Buena Vista, CO.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment and be willing to work in our Buena Vista and Fairplay, Colorado locations. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to loaders, backhoes, and excavators.
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute plans effectively while adhering to project timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.

Experience

  • Previous experience running heavy equipment is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
  • Familiarity with operating heavy machinery, such as Caterpillar equipment, is a plus.
  • Experience in handling loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other relevant machinery is highly desirable.
