Wage: $15.50-18.50 /hr. 

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

Position Description: Oversee Health component, to assure compliance of federal and state health requirements for preschool children. Assure services to families in one classroom are provided. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION CAN BE READ AT THE HEAD START CENTER.

Requirements: Working knowledge of early childhood health issues. Ability to learn and follow Head Start Performance Standards, Pyramid Plus Model, Child Care Licensing regulations, and NAEYC Accreditation process. Pleasant and positive attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced program, computer skills utilizing Microsoft products. Good communication skills, detail oriented. Health background helpful. BA degree in a health-related field preferred. Experience in the medical field.

Hours: 40 per week with benefits, year-round position. Benefits include health/life insurance, paid annual leave, paid sick leave, Federal holidays paid, 4-day work week.
