Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site care and injury management for athletes during practices and competitions.
  2. Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to individual and team needs.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized rehabilitation plans for injured athletes.
  4. Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for athletes.
  5. Educate athletes and teams on safe practices, health, and wellness to reduce the risk of future injuries.
  6. Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress reports.
  7. Manage and maintain equipment, supplies, and facilities to ensure a safe environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with athletes and teams.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for promoting health and empowering athletes to succeed.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, completed the minimum required hours of supervised clinical experience or internship in athletic training and passed the Board of Certification exam, OR a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with a major in athletic training from an accredited athletic training program completed the minimum required hours of supervised clinical experience or internship in athletic training and passed the Board of Certification exam.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • 1. Current, active Athletic Training certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Inc.
    2. Current or ability to obtain Colorado Athletic Training Licensure
    3. Current CPR Certification
    4. Clear and valid Colorado Driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
