Job Type: Seasonal Full time, Hourly

Wage: $20-$22.50/hr. 

Location: Leadville, CO.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Act as the onsite “face and voice” of the Cooper brand
  • Answer guest questions and provide resort information to onsite guests, and via telephone and email
  • Resolve guest concerns, complaints, and problems, including escalating problems to resort management according to necessity
  • Operate POS system to sell lift ticket and season pass products, along with a limited selection of basic retail items
  • Communicate clearly with resort management, and act as liaison between resort departments as needed
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of the resort, including base and on-mountain facilities
  • May assist with marketing duties including snow reporting, grooming report, social media, responding to customer reviews and inquiries
  • May coordinate events such as weddings, meetings and private parties
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18+ with current and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • A professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Working conditions

The Guest Services Representative position is based primarily inside, but may also be outside and exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500+ feet).

Physical requirements

Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift objects that may be heavy, and the ability to ski or snowboard at an advanced level is preferred.
