Job Description:
I need a grounds keeper/mechanic whose primary responsibility will be grooming the trail, keeping it open, taking the garbage trailer to the dump once a month, filling the water tank in town every 5 or 6 days or so, as well as taking care of any small equipment repairs to tour sleds and possibly minor mechanical problems as needed. Basic snowmobile and diesel snow cat knowledge is really helpful, although these are so high-tech these days that there's not a whole lot you can do yourself anymore outside of changing the oil and coolant, etc. This position requires independent and unsupervised work and scheduling, as the weather often dictates when you might need to come and go.
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- On call
