Position Summary:

The Global Vendor Enablement Director involves close collaboration with our vendor partners to enhance their presence in the Pax8 marketplace ecosystem. Key responsibilities include evaluating vendor capabilities and crafting enablement strategies to empower the sales organization. This position holds a vital role in strengthening our vendor partnerships and optimizing their performance within the Pax8 marketplace. The Vendor Enablement Director will also work in conjunction with internal teams to align vendor strategies with our business objectives, ultimately bolstering our market position.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Director of Global Vendor Enablement on the global vendor enablement strategy for Pax8.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand their technology solutions and develop enablement strategies.
  • Lead and develop vendor enablement programs to maximize vendor success and market penetration, setting clear objectives and KPIs.
  • Understand and align vendor offerings to partner Command of the Message value framework.
  • Monitor and report on content initiatives to measure productivity and success.
  • Drive production of Highspot pages and turn-key sales plays, executing our strategy of providing sellers with the right content at the right time in the sales cycle through content intelligence and automation.
  • Conceptualize and develop easily consumable and creative assets such as vendor playbooks, product overviews, battlecards, and competitive materials to support sales conversations.
  • Partners with sales and partner experience leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities to create positive bottom-line growth through vendor enablement materials.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate vendor enablement performance, track progress, and identify areas for optimization.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and vendor performance benchmarks.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least ten (10) years of experience working in Vendor Management and/or Business Development
  • Proven experience in vendor management or enablement, preferably in the cloud technology distribution industry, at a global level preferred
  • Experience implementing technology to support sales enablement (Training tools, LMS systems), Highspot experience strongly preferred.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Understanding of selling through the indirect channel with a passion for empowering partners to serve their customers
  • Strong understanding of the content creation, management, and distribution process.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet/exceed goals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver executive presentations in 1:1 and 1:many settings
  • Ability to effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Required Education Certifications:

B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $128,000 or more depending on experience 

Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates.
