Job Description
We are currently seeking two seasonal Front Desk Agents at the Surf Hotel Chateau from the end of April through October.
Front Desk Agent Job Description:
-First and foremost, interacting with guests to ensure the most pleasurable Surf experience, going above and beyond whenever possible.
-Being a South Main ambassador.
-Handle confidential and guest information with the highest degree of integrity.
-Answer all communications (phone calls, emails, and texts) in a timely and professional manner.
-Maintain the Lobby and Lobby restrooms, fireplace, the cooler and coffee station, and workstation throughout the day.
-Processing all reservations across all platforms. Hotel leisure travelers, groups, corporate and vacation rentals.
-Processing all payments with accuracy.
-Familiarity with all room types and vacation rental properties.
-Run daily reports and interacting with Housekeeping and Maintenance throughout the day to ensure all rooms are clean/serviced, and all issues resolved. (help if needed)
-Run daily Front Desk reports and following thru with completion (room deliveries, special services etc.)
-Quickly respond to guest requests and issues as needed (troubleshooting TV’s, extra towels, coffee, etc.).
-Comply with all company policies and procedures.
-Help in other departments when needed.
Front Desk Agent Requirements:
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
-Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
-Ability to stand for long periods of time.
-Ability to hear phone and guest conversations with loud background noises at times.
-Ability to work with little supervision at times and maintain a high level of performance.
-Comfortable learning new technologies.
-Customer-oriented and friendly.
-Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
