Wage: $93,427-$130,868/yr. 

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

The Fremont Sanitation District (FSD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of District Engineer located in Canon City, CO.

Successful District Engineer candidates will possess the following qualifications:

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in civil, environmental or similar engineering discipline.

· Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, professional experience in surveying and civil engineering design.

· Minimum of three (3) years of progressive, professional experience in wastewater or water system design.

· Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or management experience.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

· Current, valid licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) from the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors

 · Certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the District’s ownership and use of nuclear moisture/density gauge(s) per CDPHE Radioactive Materials Licensing Program requirements or obtain within one (1) year of employment, and

· A current valid State of Colorado “R” Driver’s License or obtain within thirty (30) days of employment.

Compensation:

The pay range for a District Engineer is $93,472 to $130,868 a year.

Upon offer of employment, will be subject to a pre-employment background check, including employment references, criminal history, and driving record review.
