Join Our Team
We are seeking a driven and passionate Front-of-House Hospitality Professional to bring energy, warmth, and expertise to our guests across the restaurant, bars, and special events. Whether you're crafting cocktails behind the bar, guiding guests through our frontier-inspired menu at 1887, coordinating a memorable private event, or creating connections in a lively bar setting, you will play a central role in elevating every visit. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to help shape the hospitality heartbeat of our historic property and our town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet, engage, and seat guests while delivering friendly, professional service from the moment they arrive
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), make thoughtful recommendations, and share knowledgeable menu insights
  • Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of craft cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages using standard recipes and presentation standards
  • Provide attentive, proactive service throughout the guest experience—anticipating needs and ensuring satisfaction
  • Confidently upsell specials, premium drinks, menu items, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
  • Enter orders efficiently into our POS system (Toast) with precision and speed
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely, high-quality food and drink delivery
  • Maintain a spotless, organized, and inviting bar and dining environment (including sanitizing surfaces, restocking, and bussing tables as needed)
  • Monitor inventory, communicate needs, and assist with bar setup/breakdown
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing private events, group reservations, and special experiences across the property
  • Serve as a point of contact during events—ensuring smooth flow, guest satisfaction, and seamless communication between front- and back-of-house teams
  • Help set up, break down, and adapt spaces for events, including décor, seating arrangements, and service stations
  • Collaborate with leadership to personalize guest experiences for events, including menu selections, beverage pairings, and special requests
  • Flexibly support the team across restaurant, bar, and special events to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant, bar, or high-volume customer-service experience strongly preferred (combination of server + bartending experience is ideal)
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, food, beverages, and creating exceptional guest moments
  • Strong knowledge of food menus, classic/modern cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Experience with event coordination, banquets, or private dining service is a strong plus
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills—you love connecting with people
