Job Description:
The EMT BIV administers basic life support care to sick and injured persons in a pre-hospital setting under direction of an Emergency Department Physician consistent with state and local protocols. Also performs continuation of care and observation during inter-facility patient transfers per direction of the transferring physician. Current EMT license, CPR certification and a completion certificate for an IV course is required. Must have valid Colorado driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record. This position is non exempt, hourly with a wage range of $21.45 to $24.75, DOQ. This position is eligible to accrue 1 hour of sick time per 30 hours work, up to a maximum of 48 hours.
