QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Colorado Teaching License
  • Meet quality standards for Elementary Education
  • Strong background in Elementary Education
  • Experience in working with elementary students
  • Good understanding of Colorado Testing requirements
  • Strong student management skills
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written languages
  • Good team member
  • Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fremont RE-2 School District elementary teachers demonstrate and develop pedagogical expertise in literacy and mathematics. They are knowledgeable in other content areas. They establish a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for a diverse population of students. Teachers plan and deliver effective instruction by creating an environment that facilitates student learning. They use data to drive instructional practices and provide students with feedback. Teachers demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, reflection, and leadership. They develop strong relationships with families, students, and colleagues.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • 161 day contract 8.5 hour workday - 4 day school week
  • Salary according to District approved Salary Schedule - Certified Teacher District will accept up to fifteen (15) years of experience
  • District contribution toward benefit package valued at $4,944 annually to include Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
  • Leave days according to District Policy
