Wage: $18/hr.
Location: Penrose, CO.
Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for multiple positions as Trash Collectors, Driver's Helpers, and Landfill Laborers. This role involves performing various tasks to ensure efficient waste collection and site maintenance. Candidates should be prepared for physical labor and early morning start times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Punctuality: Report to the site promptly at 5:30 AM.
- Safety Compliance: Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including 6 inch lace up steel-toe boots(must have own pair). Additional PPE will be provided.
- Health & Hydration: Maintain hydration and health throughout the workday.
- Efficiency: Work safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Waste Collection: Ride on the back of garbage trucks, collect homeowner’s garbage cans, empty them into the truck, and return the cans to their original location.
- Site Maintenance: Assist in site cleanup and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements:
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Adherence to safety protocols and efficient work habits.
- PPE: 6 inch lace up steel toe boots.(all other PPE will be provided)
- Construction Laborer, Warehouse and Landscaping experience preferred.
