Job Type: Full time, Hourly

Wage: $25-$31/hr.

Location: Canon City, CO.

Job Description:

Buckley Powder Co is currently looking for Blast hole Drill Operators in the Northern/Central Colorado and Wyoming Area. Buckley Powder offers competitive salary and excellent benefits, including:

  • The Drill Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the drilling rig. Additionally, operator must demonstrate safe working practices and follow all company policies and procedures. Driller inspects and maintains drill’s mechanisms, lubricant systems and fluid levels. Makes minor repairs by replacing gaskets, filters, hoses, etc. Must complete drilling and blasting reports as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements

  • Willing to do laborer work
  • Willing to travel
  • 2+ years Experience preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Physical Requirements
  • Standing
  • Walking
  • Climbing, stooping and bending
  • Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds
  • Duties may require working from heights

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Drilling: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
