🚀 Director of Product Management, Platform Engineering

🌟 What You’ll Do:

  • Set the Vision: Define and drive the strategy for platform-as-a-product, aligning roadmaps with company goals and future growth.
  • Lead with Purpose: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, instilling strong product thinking and outcome orientation.
  • Build for Scale: Guide the development of infrastructure, developer tools, and services that are simple, secure, and scalable.
  • Collaborate Deeply: Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful value.
  • Drive Outcomes: Translate vision into focused roadmaps tied to business OKRs, and track performance across the product portfolio.
  • Champion Innovation: Identify new investment areas and advocate for platform capabilities that unlock business potential.
  • Empower Teams: Remove blockers, streamline dependencies, and ensure efficient execution across teams.

🧠 What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of product management experience in technical domains like platform engineering, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
  • Proven success leading PMs to deliver complex, high-impact products.
  • Deep understanding of developer pain points across the SDLC.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on ROI and outcome-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance product management and platform engineering practices.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $165,000-$200,000 or more depending on experience
