Position Summary:

The Director of Inclusive Workplace creates a culture of belonging in which all individuals can thrive by actively engaging our employees, partners, vendors, customers, and community. They build, champion, and maintain the shared value of an inclusive workplace for our Pax8 ecosystem. The Director partners with regional and global team members to assemble and execute strategic partnerships and projects, engage with non-governmental organizations, and work with international development organizations and other Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) partner/vendor organizations. With specific focus on the Social Impact core pillars, they work in partnership with the Vice President of Social Impact to establish overall strategy and programs. The Director serves as a global partner by building long-term strategies and training for behavioral change while focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all regions. They provide oversight of the Employee Resource Group (ERG) leadership teams to ensure alignment of ERG goals. They manage objectives with broader companywide initiatives for the groups to help maximize scalability, impact, and engagement as well as help to foster a deep sense of inclusion throughout the workplace.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop capabilities to address and bolster employee engagement; provide direction for partnerships and establish relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against our commitments for inclusive workplaces and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB).
  • Create an inclusive and respectful workspace by developing long-term strategies and continually reviewing assessments.
  • Design strategy, oversee the implementation, and report key metrics to leadership on global opportunities to activate deep engagement through inclusive workplace programming and ERGs with the Benevity platform.
  • Partner with both external networks and internal People Operations team members across multi-geo locations to reach and engage a global population of employees; provide them with opportunities to bring about meaningful social change and support efforts for underrepresented communities around the world.
  • Design and review Inclusive Workplace and DEIB practices to ensure Pax8 is leading with industry standards.
  • Build and maintain a trusted partnership with global People Ops divisions and leadership; serve as a Thought Leader for an inclusive workplace culture where employees feel respected, valued, safe and encouraged to speak up and bring their full selves to work each day.
  • Recruit, train, lead, and develop their team and qualified personnel in the Inclusive Workplace Team and Social Impact Department.

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least six (6) years of relevant experience in social impact, DEIB program development, implementation and/or ERG development.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior business management with the ability to understand and translate business objectives to counsel leaders to achieve desired DEI outcomes.
  • Experienced transformational leader with proven record in managing change with an understanding of the contexts, cultures, and politics within organizations and communities that affect the implementation of DEI efforts.
  • Strong public speaking skills, history of influencing peers, and able to maintain poise under pressure.
  • Ability to engage cross-functionally to request resources, collaborate on projects, and coordinate events globally.
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills; Always conduct themselves in a professional manner with proven relationship-building skills.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to establishing and executing on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and other goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training, executive presentations, and innovations in 1:1 and 1: many settings in live, virtual, or hybrid environments.
  • Proven success in creating innovative and scalable business plans, analyzing results, and making appropriate modifications to continually improve execution of strategies to deliver optimal success.
  • Highly organized with project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action and facilitate effective program reviews.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.

Required Education & Certifications:

B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $145,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
