Job Type: Full time, Salaried

Wage: $65,000 - $75,000/yr.

Location: Leadville, CO.

Job Description:

The Director of Community Impact will be responsible for supervising LCBAG’s coalition facilitators, providing oversight of the organization’s core initiatives, and supporting alignment between coalition efforts. They will provide direct supervision and coaching to facilitators through weekly check-ins, ensuring that staff have the tools, resources, training, and support they need to be successful community organizers. The Director of Community Impact will work closely with the Director of Strategic Advancement, the Lead Facilitator, and the Executive Director as part of a Leadership Team to co-create an equitable and supportive work environment through policy creation, staff development, and process recommendations. The Director of Community Impact will also surface the needs of facilitators, highlight opportunities for internal collaboration, and weigh in on ideas from the Executive Director. 

The Director of Community Impact will focus on internal relationships at the organization to ensure that initiatives are running smoothly, addressing community needs, and complying with all necessary funder requirements. It is expected that most of their time will be spent supporting existing projects and they will not lead or implement projects unless there is a clear and compelling short term need. 

The Director of Community Impact will be responsible for understanding each initiative’s grant objectives to support facilitators in developing work plans, managing and modifying budgets, and completing required deliverables. They will work with the Director of Strategic Advancement to make sure reporting requirements are met.
