Job Description
The Department of Human Services is hiring a lead worker for the Child Support Enforcement team. As lead worker, you will carry a case load and support the supervisor to provide oversight to legal technicians concerning job functions including locating non-custodial patents, establishing paternity of children, establishing child support and health insurance obligations, reviewing orders for possible adjustments, and enforcing and collecting child support. This position will move into a supervisor position no sooner than 1/1/2024 when all training and expectations are complete. All functions related to the administration of Child Support Enforcement as promulgated by State of Colorado Regulation Manual, Volume VI. This position will be back-up for supervisor when supervisor is out of the office and any other time designated. They also insure the establishment of child support/paternity orders, perform accounting entries per ACSES, and monitor and assess all performance collection data issued by the State of Colorado.
This position requires strong computer skills, time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required with 3 years of experience.
Annual salary range is $45,000 to $67,000; benefits include medical, dental, prescription, vision and life insurances, disability, retirement plan, paid leaves, and holidays.
