HRRMC's Information Systems department has a full-time (40 hrs/wk) opening as a Desktop Support Technician. This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The employee in this position also assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment.

Salary range is based on years of experience and will range from $18.66 to $23.46 per hour. Additional pay is possible based on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Ticket Queue: Primarily responsible for first response, evaluation, prioritization, documentation resolution or escalation of user reported issues.
- Troubleshooting: Determine source and nature of hardware/software issues throughout the organization.
- Customer Service: Maintains positive, professional and constructive attitude when interacting with our customers.
- Hardware: responsible for the configuration, deployment, maintenance and the decommissioning of HRRMC PCs, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
- Training: responsible for training and orienting staff on use of hardware and software.
- On Call: being prepared to work outside of hours when required and to provide outside of hours on call to support the 24x7 nature of the hospital per the rotation schedule.

Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One to three years of IS systems support experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
